PM: Govt to allow Russians to leave country for work, education
MOSCOW, Jun 8 (PRIME) -- The government has signed a ruling allowing Russians to leave the country to take care of their relatives, as well as for employment and education, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a meeting of the committee for fight against the coronavirus disease on Monday.
“The government has signed a ruling that allows Russians to leave the state to take care of their sick relatives living abroad, as well as to work or study. Russians who need to receive medical help abroad can also leave,” he said.
Foreigners will be allowed to visit Russia to get medical help or to look after their sick relatives.
The number of coronavirus-infected people has increased by below 2% daily over the past six days as of Monday, but there are still risks linked to the spread of the epidemic so high alert should be maintained to deal with any emergency instantly, Mishustin also said.
